Terms of use

Reading is open to everyone, while writing access is available to users who create writer accounts. Before public release, writers confirm rights, visibility, AI-use disclosure, and content guidelines.

If policy violations, repeated reports, or clear abuse are confirmed, operators may hide or restrict stories and chapters.

Copyright in each story remains with the creator by default.

Creators grant Plotloom a non-exclusive license to provide the service, display the work, surface it in search, generate share previews, and quote limited excerpts for promotion.

Plotloom will not sell, publish, anthologize, adapt, sublicense, or commercially redistribute a creator work without separate consent.

During beta, creators may request that a public page be unpublished or removed. Limited copies may remain for security, backup, legal-record, or operations-log purposes, but those copies are not used for public display or distribution.

Creators warrant that submitted work does not infringe third-party copyrights, trademarks, likeness rights, privacy rights, or other rights.

Plotloom does not use submitted manuscripts for AI model training or fine-tuning without separate creator consent.

If translation, summarization, labeling, or review requires external AI API processing, Plotloom asks for separate consent during manuscript submission.

Publicly posted works may be accessed by search engines and external crawlers. Link-only, noindex request, and private-review options reduce exposure but are not a perfect blocking guarantee.

False reporting, account abuse, clear copyright infringement, unedited bulk generation, and spam uploads are grounds for restriction.

When a violation is suspected, the operations queue may request additional clarification or limit public exposure.
