The Fan Chant After Midnight · Chapter 3
Episode 3. The Names They Did Not Call
RAVISER held the fan sign the next day, but there were no name plates onstage.
When the first fan stepped up, Lian lowered the microphone.
"Today, we will not call names," she said. "Please choose your seats yourselves."
The fans looked confused, then began avoiding the empty seats without knowing why. All seventeen waitlisted fans sat near the back aisle. At 3:17 p.m., a screw fell from the ceiling. A lighting rail shivered after it, but no one onstage called a name.
The structure crashed into the empty front row of section B.
Nobody was hurt.
That night, the arena stayed quiet. RAVISER was leaving when Lian saw one light stick wake in section B. The name tag on its handle had no name.
It had only a sentence.
Next time, do not call yours.
